Nazca lies on the Pan-American Highway, 490km south of the city of Lima. It is home to the 'The Nazca lines', huge ground drawings and geometrical figures, imprinted in the desert sand. There is a number of ways to see the drawings, however flying has become the most common option. The modern city centre offers travellers a variety of shops, restaurants and entertainment options. There is an inexpensive selection of mid-range Nazca hotels to choose from.
